Transparency​

Transparency is the key to success. We document our design decisions so we can reference them in discussions and not reinvent the wheel again by discussing stuff repeatedly and without historical context.

Collaborative​

Building products is a team game. Listen actively ask for feedback, and act on users’ and business' needs. Provide constant feedback. Good design never stops communicating, but make sure it’s actionable and avoids jargon. When crafting experiences, don’t silo yourself — partner with like and unlike minds equally. Listen, share ideas, and learn to compromise. Brainstorm together on a level playing field.

Flexibility​

Our priority is to deliver the features they need to work on. And they expect Symnicorn to be a tool that just works. Provide our adopters delightful components and provide enough flexibility in how to assemble them for the specific use case they have. Maintain consistency in visual interactions while allowing for action-based component extensions.
